Mr. Percy Ronnie Holmes, Jr.

Percy was born on June 15, 1957, in the vibrant city of Detroit, Michigan. From a young age, he displayed an inherent curiosity and passion for understanding how things worked. This led him to pursue a career in engineering, where he would leave an indelible mark on the industry and the lives of those he encountered. After earning his engineering degree from Mississippi Valley State University, Percy embarked on a journey of professional excellence. He was well-known for his innovative thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and his ability to solve complex problems with ease. Throughout his career, Percy worked with several notable companies, making significant contributions to various projects, advancements, and technological breakthroughs. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Percy's true fulfillment came from the love and joy he shared with his family. He was a devoted grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and a caring father to his children. His unwavering support and unwavering belief in their abilities were the foundation of their successes, and his unconditional love will forever remain in their hearts. In his spare time, Percy found peace in cleaning his home, rearranging his furniture, enjoying a nice cigar while listening to jazz music and allowing his imagination to transport him to different worlds and broaden his understanding of the human experience. He also cherished moments spent indulging in his hobbies, which included farming, sports, spending time with grandkids, and traveling. Percy Holmes Jr. will be remembered as a man of integrity, intelligence, and unwavering dedication. His professional achievements, loving spirit, and genuine kindness have left indelible impact on the lives he touched. He leaves behind cherished memories that will forever be held dear by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was preceded in death by his parents Christine and Percy Holmes Sr. Also his brothers James "Jimmy" and Jerry. Percy leaves to cherish his memories his son, Runnel Paul, Sr. (Starrina); Son, Percy Ronnie Holmes III "Rock" (Brentney); daughter, Brittany Wiesler(TJ); daughter, Jasmine Holmes (Ryan Hill); son, Andrew Winfield, daughter, Shanel Pineda. Percy was a loving "Papa" to sixteen grandchildren. Percy leaves three brothers, Sylvester Gene (Miriam), Paul (Jackie) and Melvin (Stephanie) along with a sister, Danita Danielle. Percy also leaves behind his fiancé, Anita Hill. Percy "Ronnie" will forever be cherished may his soul find eternal peace, and may his memory continue to inspire and guide us all.
