Amari Loggins

Amari Montreal Loggins was born September 30, 2015 in Austell, Georgia to Gabriel and Jacqueline Loggins. He transitioned from this life on August 31, 2018 in Powder Springs, Georgia. He is preceded in death by great-grandmothers Jo Ella Collier, Girlee Campbell and Johnnie T. Amos; Great grandfathers Carl Watson, Zebedee Loggins and Tommie Ray Amos; Great-great-great grandparents Mitchell and Fannie Inez Parrett and his uncle John Earl Watson. Amari grew up in both Georgia and Mississippi. While in Mississippi he attended Friends of Children, Inc. Early Head Start in Pelahatchie, MS. He was well loved by his teachers, classmates, the center staff and the other parents. Amari also attended the First Step Program in Pearl, MS where he received speech therapy. He was dedicated to God by Pastor Douglas McMahon at Greater Works Outreach Ministries where he was well loved by the pastor, first lady and members. Amari enjoyed playing with his cousins Edan, Arya, Boaz, MercyGrace and Brooklyn as well as his older cousins Kody, Elijah, Rylee and Jaylyn. He enjoyed running, playing outside, making music with forks, spoons and spatulas, riding in his wagon behind Daddy Jack after school and most of all, watching his favorite tv show Yo Gabba Gabba. His favorite foods were pizza, spaghetti, soft tacos and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. (Doretha) Rhodes of Morton, MS and Clyde Campbell, Jr. of Pelahatchie, MS; Aunties Aletha (Joe) Payton of Brandon, MS, Joetta Watson of Pelahatchie, MS, Salina Loggins and Katrina Loggins both of Canton, MS and Nicole Givens of Ridgeland, MS; Uncles Gerald (Myrtis) Watson of Pelahatchie, MS, Kenneth Watson and Kent (Cynthia) Watson both of Morton, MS, Jeffery Watson and Orenthal (Dorothy) Watson both of Pelahatchie, MS, Eric (Victoria) Watson of Chicago, IL; Jarvin Smith of Jackson, MS, Mitchell (Jessica) Watson of Pelahatchie, MS, who were also his God-parents; Jack (Anne) Watson of Jackson, MS, Marcus (Kamino) Loggins of Flowood, MS and John Loggins, Jr. of Jackson, MS. Amari also had many cousins, loved ones and friends.
