Mrs. Beverly Lynette Gross

Beverly Lynette Gross was born to the late Arthur Lyles and Angeline Gore. She accepted Christ at an early age. She started serving Christ later in her adult life, which led her to join Mount Pisgah Baptist Church of Sandhill Mississippi. She later became apart of Chosen by God Ministries of Brandon, Mississippi. She was a graduate of Pisgah High School. She also attended Hinds Community College where she studied early childhood education. On June 23, 1978 she married her soulmate Michael Gross. They raised three (3) children together, Michael Lyles, Angela Gross and Candice Gross. Net had many occupations throughout her life, but she had the gift of cooking. She spent several years cooking, which led her to meet many people that grew to love and respect her. She was known for many great dishes, but her potato salad and spaghetti was known throughout the community. Net loved cooking for her family. She loved watching game shows, especially Wheel of Fortune which her and Manisa Ragsdale bonded over. She loved watching her soap operas and playing crossword puzzles. Her daily routine consisted of her sitting in her recliner, talking to God and looking out her window. She loved to say "I see you" Net leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband of 47 years Michael Gross of Sandhill, Mississippi; three children, Michael Lyles, Angela Gross, and Candice Gross all of Sandhill, Mississippi; stepmother Mable Lyles of Lena, Mississippi; bonus daughters, Casedra Carson of Sandhill Mississippi, Krystal Buckner of Jackson, Mississippi, Arriel Knight Jackson, Mississippi; her pops Jimmy Lindsay of Chicago, Illinois; ten (10) grandchildren, MiAngela (Deonta) Rawis, Richland, Mississippi, TyChayla McClendon of Lena, Mississippi, Jaylin Rideout of Brandon, Mississippi, Teniayah Grant, Shaniayah Grant, Destyn Hill, Caleb Grant, Jerome McKinnis Jr., Trinity Holmes, and Serenity Holmes of Sandhill, Mississippi; her sidekick/ great grand son, Ja Vaughn McClendon.; three (3) great grands, Aniyah Harvey, Rylee Rawls, and Dakahi Rawls of Richland, Mississippi; nephew Robert Burst of Jackson, Mississippi; niece Kimberly (Marquis) Douglas of Sharon, Mississippi; god son, Terrell Grant of Jackson, Mississippi and her namesake Cassandra Jones Perkins of Fannin, Mississippi. Her one and only brother, Stephen Lyles preceded her in death. She was loved by a host of brother and laws, sister and laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
