Deaconess Fannie Ann Collier

Life is just a steppingstone. A pause before we make it to our Heavenly home. A simple place to rest and be until we reach eternity. Everyone has a life journey. A path to take with lots to see. God guides our steps along the way and we were never meant to stay. Thus, it was with Fannie Ann Reed Collier who was just passing through and was never meant to stay, departed her earthly home on Thursday, November 13, 2025, to spend eternity in Her Heavenly Home. 2 CORINTHIANS 4:17-18 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 CORINTHIANS 5:8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. ROMANS 14:0 For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord's. Fannie Ann Reed Collier was born on September 19,1964, in Preston, MS to Norman Theodore Roosevelt Reed and Alberta Prince Reed. Her Story Ann, as she was affectionately known was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, joy, and faith in God. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her husband, family, friends and many more whose lives were touched by her. You could get a flavor of this as she would carry on a conversation or tell stories, seated around the kitchen counter with her feet dangling and swinging back and forth and blinking her eyes to indicate her fibbing. We ask that you remember her not for the way her life ended but for the way it was lived and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Ann is survived and will be forever cherished by her loving husband, Don Adams Collier and son Norman Lenard Reed (Jemeshia). Forever cherished and remembered by her siblings, Terisa Reed, Leontyne Glass, Clarence Reed (Bettye), Romana Reed Jenkins, Adrine Reed and James Reed. Sisters in love, Jennifer Adams and Sandra Thomas. Her memory lives on with her nieces and nephews and best friend LaKishia Ryder with much love. Ann was predeceased by her parents, sons Lamar Oneal Reed and Jeffery Jermaine Redd Her legacy will carry on forever reminding us that we control our attitudes. We choose to live a life of meaningful acts of love and service, like Christ modeled for us. To God be the glory for the time we all shared in the life of Fannie Ann Reed Collier, our BELOVED
