Ms. Formeka Rena Ball

Formeka Rena Ball, was born in Jackson, Mississippi on September 18th, 1977 to the late Daniel Ball, Jr. and Patricia Ann Ball. Formeka transitioned unexpectedly on October 3rd, 2023, at the age of 46. Formeka attended Richland High School and graduated from Pearl High School. She later attended and graduated from Magnolia College of Cosmetology and Holmes Community College. Formeka Ball, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, Entrepreneur, devoted community member, and a beacon of light to all who knew her. Formeka was led to Christ and accepted the Lord as a young adult. Formeka leaves behind her cherished daughter, Rylee Elise (Tookie), who was the center of her world. Their bond was unbreakable, a testament to the profound love that bound their hearts. Formeka's days were infused with moments of joy, laughter, and the tender care she showered upon Rylee. Their shared adventures, quiet moments of reflection, and shared dreams were the foundation of a relationship built on unwavering support and unconditional love. Rylee was not only her daughter, but her confidante and closest companion. Formeka's spirit was dedicated to service. She was a shining example of selflessness, generously offering her time and energy to various community endeavors. Her infectious enthusiasm and fun-loving nature brought joy to every gathering, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. A lover of adventure, Formeka found immense joy in travel. She reveled in exploring new places and experiencing different cultures, creating memories that will forever be treasured by those fortunate enough to have shared those journeys with her. Formeka is survived by her daughter Rylee Moore and her mother Patricia Ball. Forever remembered by her siblings Pastor Danny Ball (Jacqueline) of Conyers, GA, sister LaTasha Ball Owens (Elder Eric Owens) of Florence, MS, sister LaTisha Ball Simmons (Eric Simmons) of Florence, MS, and special sister Jasmin Crook of Jackson, MS. Grandfather Melvin Hargrow of Pearl, MS, one niece, and a host of nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins. Formeka Ball will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, service, and zest for life will continue to inspire and uplift us all.
