Mrs. Gail Lynette Smith

Born July 27, 1961, transitioned peacefully into eternal life on July 7, 2022. Gail was a loving wife to Lonnie Smith, beautiful mother to Robert Sebastian Davis, and bonus children Lonnie R. and Lonnisha Smith, privileged grandmother to Sidney Davis, proud daughter of Herman Allison, beloved sister of Bridgett Allison and Ronald (Cassandra) Allison, exceptional aunt and niece, and dear friend to many in her life. Preceded in death by her mother, Mary Elizabeth Harper Allison. Arrangements will be: Visitation Wednesday, July 13, 2022 5:00p.m. – 6:00 p.m., Services to be at 6:00p.m. at CHRIST THE KING BAPTIST CHURCH, 7750 N. 60th Street, Milwaukee, WI. Final resting place Florence, Mississippi. Gail Lynette (Allison) Smith was born on July 27, 1961, to the union of Herman Allison and Mary Elizabeth (Harper) Allison. Gail received her formal education within the Milwaukee Public School System, attending Fratney Street Elementary School and Riverside High School. She furthered her education at Jackson State University, Jackson, Mississippi. Gail accepted Christ as her Savior and united with Hopewell Baptist Church; then Christ The King Baptist Church and served in the choir. October 25, 2008, Gail Lynette Allison united in holy matrimony with Lonnie D. Smith in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was employed by Froedtert Hospital in the Human Resources Department as a Physician Recruiter for 9 years. In her leisure, she enjoyed shopping, antiquing, watching food programs and taking pictures. Gail Lynette Smith departed this life July 7, 2022. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Elizabeth (Harper) Allison. She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Lonnie Smith; son, Robert Sebastian Davis; bonus children, Lonnie R. and Lonnisha Smith; grandson, Sidney Davis; father, Herman Allison; sister, Bridgett Allison; brother, Ronald (Cassandra) Allison; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
