Mrs. Ida Bell Branch

Elegance, faith filled, dedicated, hard worker, family filled and strength are a few words to describe Mrs. Ida Bell Spann Branch. She was known to her close family and friends as "Mickey." She was a beautiful woman inward and outward. Mrs. Ida Spann-Branch was born on December 20,1944 in Rankin County, MS to Beatrice Quinn and Henry Spann. She transitioned from earth to her eternal home on Friday, February 10, 2023 at Merit Health Crossgates in Brandon, MS. She is preceded in death by her husband Louis Branch Sr; her mother; her father; one son Lewis Branch Jr. .; one great grandson, Jaxson Tucker; three brothers: Charles, Henry, and David Ouinn: two sisters: Lucille and Mary Louise Quinn. Mrs. Branch's childhood began in the Rankin County Community of Brandon, Mississippi. Mrs. Ida Bell Branch later united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Louis Branch Sr. While being a Mother to her five children and a Wife, Mrs. Branch became employed at Mississippi Department of Corrections and Rankin County School District more than two decades and it was then she officially retired. Mrs. Branch was a strong and righteous woman who installed in her family the values of honesty, truth, love, perseverance, and how important keeping a spiritual focus. In her spare time you would find Mrs. Ida cooking, sewing, shopping on HSN and mostly importantly, spending quality time with her family. Mrs. Branch love God and her Rockstar Church family. She professed Jesus as her Lord and Savior at a very early age, uniting in service with Rockstar Missionary Baptist Church in Brandon, Mississippi. She served in numerous capacities before her health diminished. From a Vacation Bible School teacher to a choir member, she devoted her life to serving God in worship, praise, and deeds. Leavins to cherish her memories are her five children: Angela Branch, Michael Branch, and Sharon Spann all from Brandon, MS; Willie Spann of Columbus, GA; one step daughter; Jeanette Easterling of San Diego, CA; ten grandchildren: Antonio Spann, Bianca Branch, Jason Branch, Jessica Spann, Joshua Spann, Jeremy Spann all of Brandon, MS; Justin Spann of Hattiesburg, MS; Tyler Branch and Lewis Wilson of Jackson, MS; Carlos Easterling of Las Vegas, NV; fourteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two brothers: Tony, Jerry (Melonda) Quinn both of Brandon, MS; four sisters: Shelia Quinn, Gail Quinn, Dianne Wilson all of Brandon, MS; Connie (Sam) Winters of Mendenhall, MS; life long friends: Barbara Magee, Eddie Mae Odoms, Jimmy Ruth Oneal; and a host of loving and special cousin, nieces, nephews, her Rockstar family, and friends,
