Mr. Reggie Lenard McNeal

Reggie Lenard McNeal, son of L.H. Collier and Elzean McNeal was born on January 10, 1975 in Jackson, Mississippi. He transitioned from earth to his eternal home on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. Reggie was a member of New Galilean Baptist Church of Jackson, Mississippi under the leadership of the late Pastor Nathaniel Booker. Reggie attended Rankin County School District from first to twelfth grade. From middle school through high school, he played football and his position was defensive tackle, number 90. He graduated class of 1995 from Brandon High School. He started his career at Car Care Clinic performing oil changes, then moved on to be a transporter at Airborne Express. He attended M.S. Carrier to receive CDL License and worked for them briefly. Lastly, he was hired at Luvel Dairy, with a recent company name change to Prairie Farms. He was employed there for twenty-six years, until his death. Reggie met LaTanya in December of 2005 and were wedded in March of 2018. To this union, no children were born, but he did had two stepsons from a previous marriage. Reggie was a die-hard Pittsburg Steelers fan. He enjoyed taking care of horses. For years, he attended many horse rides, parades and hosted Black Rodeo tailgates. He was also a youth football coach for the Brandon Falcons. Reggie was a master on the grill and a chef in the kitchen. He loved to cook and would feed anyone. Reggie was notorious for being a born leader, man of integrity that was always willing to lend a helping hand to others. He stood up for right and will be spoken well of for years to come for his many kind acts during his lifetime. Reggie was proceeded in death by his parents L.H. Collier and Elzean McNeal and one paternal brother, Michael Miles. He leaves to rejoice in his life, his wife LaTanya McNeal; a maternal sister, Latasha Smith; a special niece, Genesis Berry; a great niece, Malaysia McNeal; four (4) aunts: Ruth McNeal, Alice Milner, Irma Jones, and Mary Ann McNeal; and four (4) paternal aunts and uncles; two step sons, Zavean Woodard Jr. and Kenna Bryant; a God daughter, Arie Bates; a special father figure, Willie Russell; one sister-in-law, Erica (Eric) Shinall; one brother-in-law, Eric Stewart; his mother-in-law, Darlene Stewart and a host of thirty-two (32) paternal brothers and sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
