Ms. Sadie Natasha Harris

To my sweet family and friends, here we are today saying farewell to the shell that housed my spirit for 46 fulfilling years. I know it is an overwhelming occasion for many of you, especially my dear Sister and family but just know that I lived my life the best way that I knew how and it was from my heart. Don't let there be a doubt in your mind that I did not enjoy my life and know that God has said "Well done Sadie, thy good and faithful servant"! Please know that ALL IS WELL WITH MY SOUL and I LOVE YOU ALL VERY MUCH. Now just a little recap of my life: I am, Sadie Natasha Harris, born August 19, 1976 to Peter and Claudia Harris in Kansas City, MO. I am the middle sibling of Michael Harris and Edna Patrina Harris. Both of my parents and brother preceded me in glory. Along with my siblings, I spent my younger years in Kansas City, MO. I was educated in the Hickman Mills Consolidated District #1 until I graduated High School (Ruskin High School in 1994). I furthered my education as a Special Educator at Jackson State University. I became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated in Fall 2001. I served as an active member of KCMO Alumni. I am proud to say that I was employed at Mississippi Department of Education for a few years where I met many of my beautiful friends with whom we shared countless adventures, business and otherwise. I acquired many skills throughout my time here on earth. I loved singing in three of the most talented choirs on this side of heaven (Interfaith, Inspired Praise, and Gifts). Serving as Youth Director/Organizer/Trainer at Rehoboth Christian Ministries was a true honor. Impacting countless students lives over the years as a case manager to becoming a Special Education Teacher was the most rewarding, in addition to countless talents that I have used to assist in the lives of others as well as my own. I love all things BEAUTIFUL! I believe that anyone can do anything which they put their mind and heart into. I have had the most amazing time with my family and friends. We've sung, danced, traveled, cooked, cleaned, and learned together. I know that they think that I taught them a lot, but I have learned so much from each of them. Most of all I have learned unconditional love. I am in great hope that everyone whom I have encountered throughout my 46 years has been touched by me in a positive way. I pray that you hold on to all of the memories that you and I have shared. December 22, 2022, was my graduation day. I'm not leaving you to mourn me. I desire you to celebrate my life for it is from all of you that I received most of my inspiration.
