Mr. Theodore "T-Bell" Ainsworth Jr.

Theodore Ainsworth, Jr. (Brother/T-Bell/the Legend) was born on June 8, 1962, to the late Theodore, Sr. & Rosie Lee Hampton Ainsworth. He attended Florence Elementary, Mclaurin Jr. High and graduated from Florence High School in 1981. He excelled in football and track-thus the name "the Legend" He received numerous awards for his skills as an offensive and defensive lineman in addition to his discus throw and shot put. He received an athletic scholarship to Hinds Community College. He joined the Brown Hill MB Church at an early age under the pastorship of Rev. T.R. Oliphant. You would often hear him talking about how "Mama & Daddy made sure he and his siblings went to church and Sunday School". He loved to get with his siblings and reminisce about growing up and how their parents instilled in them the love for family and God. T-Bell often spoke of his love for God and that he was glad that he had been given the opportunity to be saved. He enjoyed talking to other people and encouraging them. He always reached out to people to check on their well - being and to offer his services which he referred to as his ministry, especially as his health to wane (but it didn't stop him). He enjoyed attending his home church, Brown Hill, and various churches. Upon receiving an invitation from one of his classmates, he became a faithful attendee at the Star Baptist Church in Star, MS. He truly enjoyed the fellowship with the Pastor and members of the Star Baptist Church family. On August 3, 1996, Theodore was united in marriage to Pauline Jenkins. To their union, a beautiful daughter, Kaitlyn Rose was born. Though we miss our beloved Theodore, we rejoice in knowing that he is at peace and not struggling with issues of life - he has received his heavenly rewards. T-Bell leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Pauline and daughter, baby girl Kaitlyn Rose who reside in Pearl, MS. His siblings, Ester L., William (Honey), Ella (Lady) and niece/daughter, Ashlei Ainsworth all of Florence, MS. He is also survived by god-brothers, Walter Ainsworth of Jackson, MS, the Gayden brothers (Reese, Danny, Jeffrey, James & Devan) of Braxton, MS, Ridgeland, MS, New England, Belton, Belton,TX, and Florence, MS, and Earl Hoard of Pearl, MS. Others to cherish his memories are his mother-in-law, Johnnie Jenkins of Jackson, MS, his sisters-in-law, Deborah Jenkins, Vivian (John) West, Alfreda Scott, and Kaneva Jenkins. His brothers-in-law are Reginald (Dean) Jenkins and Cornelius Jenkins, Jr., of Pearl, MS. Included in the others to cherish his memories are six (6) nephews, fifteen (15) nieces, and a host of cousins and friends.
