A Time to Find Betty accepted Christ & was baptized at an early age at the Farris Hill M.B. Church in Pelahatchie, Mississippi. A Time to Plant Betty completed her education at Morton High School in 1980. A Time to Weep Betty leaves to cherish her memory: Mother: Doretha (L.C.) Rhodes of Morton, Mississippi; Sons: Eric Tyrone Nelson of Brandon, Mississippi and Anthony Grant of Harrisville, Mississippi; Grandchildren: Joycelyn Anastasia Grant of Harrisville, Mississippi, Dashun Grant of Forest, Mississippi, & Tylar Rae Nelson of Brandon, Mississippi; Brothers: Andrew Nelson, Jr. of Brandon, Mississippi, James Ray McNair, Sr. & Lonnie L. Nelson of Pelahatchie, Mississippi, Reverend Jessie Lee (Angela) Nelson of Belleville, Michigan; Sisters: Lula Mae McNair of Pelahatchie, Mississippi & Aresia Rhodes of Brandon, Mississippi; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew George Nelson, Sr., brother, Eddie Nelson, and brother Willie Roy Nelson
