Mrs. Callie M. McNair

Callie McNair was born on February 18, 1950 to the late Mack Boyd, Sr. and Arvella Boyd. She graduated from McCall and from there attended Jackson State University. She joined Farris Hill Missionary Baptist Church at an early age, where she was faithful until her demise. She lived her life for God and family. She was known to her church family as the "Moaner" to bring Pastor to an end and her family "Hammer" and "Silver Fox". On Friday, November 13, 2020, she transitioned from earth. She proceeded in death by her husband, Joe McNair; granddaughter, K'Nya McBride-McNair; brother, Jefferson Boyd; and sister, Levolia Johnson. She leaves to cherish her memories: Children: Doranada "Lisa" (Clell) McCurdy, Demetria "Shell" Carroll, Kingi (Valerie) McNair, Daphine McNair, Jimmy (Vinece) McNair, Roderick McNair, and Rhonda McNair. One special grandson she helped raise as her own, Damion "Pete" Young, two special granddaughters Cameshia McCurdy and Samantha Banks, one special great grandson Matthew, and a special cousin/daughter Lisa Eatman. Grandchildren: Zalen, KenDarius, Kingi II, KinJavious, Joseph, Jakylan, Kaiden, Melvin, Tina, Joe III, Brenda, Belinda, Julandia, April, Clell Jr and Darius "Pap", Lucas and Jacob. Brothers and Sisters: Mack (Linda) Boyd Jr., Ella McNair, Richard (Carolyn) Boyd, Willie (Evelyn) Boyd, and Frank (Geneva) Boyd. In-Laws: Alexander (Jimmie Ann) McNair, Paul McNair, and Earnestine Barnes. A host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews she loved as her own, and cousins that are like sis-bro to her.
