Mr. Eddie Lee Gaines

Eddie Lee Gaines, 73 of Brandon, MS, passed away on Wednesday, December 16th 2020 from a short battle of lung cancer. Eddie was born on December 11, 1947, in Brandon, MS and moved to Springfield, Ohio at the age of 17. He worked as a machinist at Robbins and Myers. After retiring, he returned to his place of birth, Brandon, where he finished out a wonderful life with friends, relatives and loved ones. He had a smile for everyone he met, and everyone called him "Uncle Eddie". He is survived by his beloved sister Willa ] "Baby" (Gaines) Mckennies; his brother John E (Earnestine) Gaines, Bishop Ricky Lee (Noni) Gaines, Donna (Gaines) and Kurt Pace, Alisha (Gaines) and Curtis Broady. Two loving Aunts, Mary Gaines, and Neal Gaines. His devoted niece, Regina Wallace. His special friend Sonya "Red" Evans and a host of grandkids, nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. He is preceded in death by wife Annie Lou Gaines; parents will and Willie (Thompson) Gaines; daughter Lana Gaines; siblings: Joe (Dora) Gaines, Earlene (Gaines) LV Branch, Dorothy Lee Gaines, Robert (Irene) Gaines, Luther Gaines, Charlie (Ella Mae) Gaines, Curtis Gaines, Vertistine (Gaines) John Thompson
