Mr. Henry Earl Sampson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Henry Earl Sampson was born on January 19, 1940 to the late Levi Sampson and Marie Berry Sampson. Henry was raised in Florence, Mississippi with his siblings, it was then that he learned to hunt and fish and became an avid fisherman. He began his career at a young age as a truck driver, with Bestway and he continued his career with McCarty Holman (Jitney Jungle), where he retired in the year 2000. During his later years in life, Henry continue to enjoy fishing and spending time with his family and friends (especially his great grandchildren). He also enjoyed watching sports, especially baseball. His love for his family extended out to others as a Big Daddy, father, brother, and uncle to a host of family and friends. Henry was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, one son, two sisters, three brothers, and one granddaughter. He leaves to cherish his memory: two daughters: Janice Sampson and Jackie (Billy) Parker; three brothers: Jimmy, Jerry, and Anthony Sampson; a special friend, Clara McGruder and family; five grandchildren: Latasha (Christopher) Winters, La’Kayla Parker Logan, Le’Keyla Parker, Jeremy (Ann) Cox, and Jalissa Cox; six great-grand children: Jaylon Cox, JaKobie Cox, Taiden Cox, Ja'Kyla Cox, Rian Jones, and Zuri Logan. Also, to cherish his memory is Lawrence Sampson (fishing buddy).
