Mr. Jerry Lee Lewis Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Bro. Jerry Lee Lewis, son of LC Lewis and the late Lillian was born on August 21", 1960, in Hazlehurst, MS. He began his Christian walk early in life joining Brown Hill Missionary Baptist Church serving as an active member where he enjoyed singing in the choir. Years later, he and his mother joined Greater Enoch Grove M.B Church with his father. Jerry graduated from Florence High School in 1978 where he enjoyed playing baseball and basketball, helping the Florence Eagles win the state championship in 1977. He attended Hinds Community College graduating with a associates degree in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. He worked at Jackson Coca Cola, Pepsi, Gulf State and Delphi. Later he started his own business Real Deal Trucking under the name "Dirt Dauber". Bro. Jerry married the love of his life Regina Johnson on December 17th, 1983. God blessed their union with four beautiful daughters: Miranda, Crystal, Sheree and Jerri Leanna. He was a longstanding member of GEG under the Leadership of Pastor Kevin Patterson. He participated in many activities which was shown through his dedication for God and his church. He served as a Trustee, member of Greater Enoch Grove Deacon Board, Pastors Aide, President of the Brotherhood and Couples Ministry, a Youth Leader, dedicated church custodian along with his daughters and the organizer of the Annual NFL Fellowship Day. His hobbies included family vacation, fishing, hunting, spending time with his parents and his only granddaughter Jaida "Muffin" whom he adored. He loved cooking and grilling especially his famous "Juicy Lucy's" and watching his Green Bay Packers. He enjoyed cattle farming, taking care of his yard, racing, horse back and four-wheeler riding with his friends. Jerry's wisdom and charisma will live through his loving and devoted high school sweetheart of 38 years. His loving father, four daughters whom he loved unconditionally, and a precious granddaughter, Jaida. He loved and left many memories with his church members, family and friends.
