Mr. Johnny Earl Perry

January 23, 1957 - May 25, 2021

Mr. Johnny Earl Porry John Earl) was born on January 23, 1957, in Rankin County, Mississippi to the late Henry Perry and Onella Holly Perry, who predeceased him. As a young child, John Earl confessed Christ and joined Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, Pelahatchie, Mississippi. John Earl received his early education from the McCall Attendance Center and graduated from Pelahatchie Attendance Center in 1975. John Earl joined the U. S. Navy in 1976, and served Active Duty for four years and then transferred to the Naval Reserve, where he served his country proudly until his Honorable Discharge. John Earl was a driven professional with an unmatched work ethic. John Earl received training in the Aviation Fund School Class "AP" TK3, Armament Systems AGE, Nuclear Weapons' Loading and Informational Technology (IT). John Earl remained dedicated to the Informational Technology industry and his job throughout his final weeks. John Earl was united in matrimony to Cynthia Montgomery in 1977. To this union two children (Carma & Rijoni) were born. John Earl went home to glory on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. Leaving to cherish his memories are his wife Cynthia Perry and his four children: Dwane Allen of Pelahatchie, Mississippi, Carma Perry, Rijoni Perry of Riverside, California; Ahmad Perry of Los Angeles, California; three brothers, Robert (Jearlean) Holly of Pelahatchie, Mississippi; Lacy (Mertis) Fox of Clinton, Mississippi; Willie (Michelle) Perry of Jackson, Mississippi four sisters, Linda Spann of Clinton, Mississippi; Katherine Smith of Jackson, Mississippi; Jalene Lavern Harper and Liley Gilbert, both of Pelahatchie, Mississippi; two uncles, Melvin Ewing and Harvey Holly of Brandon, Mississippi; three aunts, Mary Lillian Holly, Ruth Mae Holly and Lillie Hodge, all of Clinton, Mississippi; fourteen grandchildren, Ahmaya Renee Perry, Khadafi Ahmad Perry, Kiara Perry, Kardez Dickerson, Dwaun Patterson, Taylin Nicole Allen, McKinley Allen, Dacarre Rush, C'Mina Lloyd, Anthony Lloyd, Rijoni Perry, Jr., Anaiz Perry, Naru Perry, and Mayorri Perry; one great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. John Earl is preceded in death by six aunts, Gertrude Holly, Lillie Lou Fleming, Rebecca Perry, Lucy Tea Fowler, Irean Perry and JoAnn Thornton; two uncles, Carl Perry and Joe Ben Perry.
