Kimberly Renee Hobson was born on November 17, 1970, in Rankin County Mississippi to AJ and Minnie Hobson. She was the oldest child and oldest grandchild of the family. Kim attended Northwest Rankin Attendance Center in Flowood, MS, where she graduated and went on to Jackson State University but received her bachelor's degree from Belhaven University in 2010. After college she began working at State Farm Insurance in Flowood, MS, and then later moved to Morgan White Insurance. Kim joined St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church at an early age under Rev. Herrie Jenkins, Sr. and later rededicated her life under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Johnny Hughes. Kim was one of the most loving child, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, friend and co -worker. She enjoyed life to the fullest. At an early age, she loved playing video games, riding horses, playing basketball, kick ball and softball. She loved being with her family any time there was a time to get together and in her spare time she loved getting together with friends to play spades. One of the most loving things she loved to do when she was younger was playing the wicked witch and scaring the life of all her cousins. Kim leaves to cherish her memories he loving parents AJ and Minnie; one sister, Samantha Hobson; three brothers: Albert James, Jr. (Stephanie), Samuel Burton (Quilla), and Shannon Smith (Keisha); seven nieces: Audreyanna, Addison, London, Sammia, Josslyn, Shaniya, and Amber; six nephews: Daryl, Aiden, Ace, Sam II, Jordan, and Jaiden; seven aunts: Vicky Riley, Patricia Hobson, Vernaise Hobson, Sharon Hobson, Susie Ratliff, Diane McIntyre, Pat Thomas of New Orleans, LA, and Christine Thomas of Las Angeles, CA; one godson, Frisco Dominique Hill; one goddaughter, Jhasmine Andrews; two close friends: Sandra Myles Johnson and Charmele Andrews; a best friend of 30 years, Cassandra Shaw, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, friends and coworkers. Kim was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents and Daryl Thompson.
