Mr. LV Myles Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mr. L.V. Myles was born October 28, 1955 in Flora Mississippi. He was the 7th child of 12 children born to the late Napolia Myles and Elizabeth Winters Myles in rural Madison, Mississippi. On September 24, 2010 L.V. was united in Holy Matrimony to Elnora Freeman. Their union blossomed into six children. L.V. accepted Christ at an early age at Wilson Grove Missionary Baptist Church, in Flora, MS. He later moved his membership to Belmont Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Toney Crisler. At Belmont is where he shared his love of teaching Sunday School, singing in the Male Choir and serving as Church Trustee. L.V. was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Essie Veal, and one brother, Napoleon Myles, Ir. L.V. was a graduate of East Flora High School, he then went on to attend Jackson State University where he played football for the mighty tigers. He leaves to cherish his memories the love of his life Elnora Freeman Myles; he also leaves his loving children: Dana Myles Brooks (Malita), Jackson, MS; Terrence Myles, Derrick Myles (Kayata), both of Atlanta, Georgia; Ashley Myles, Bentonia, Mississippi; Melissa Freeman, Jackson, MS; and Gregory Henderson, Jr., Raymond, Mississippi. One god-daughter, Jennifer Baker, Bellbrook, Ohio. L.V. was a man of many passions, after college he pursued a career in law enforcement which spanned over 10 years. After which he soon found his passion on the open road as a truck driver and travelled all across the United States. He along with his wife Elnora started a business together, Myles 2 Myles Catering Service. He loved his family, playing golf, watching Law & Order, NCIS and dancing; in his early years he danced on Black Gold..."A Lee King Production". L.V. also leaves to cherish his memories, his step mother Mrs. Louise Myles of Madison, MS; siblings: Lucille Johnson of Jackson, MS, Ernestine (Robert) Smith of Flora, Mississippi, Eddie (Pamela) Myles of Canton, Fannie (Gene) Coleman, Byram, Mississippi, Sammie (Lori) Myles of Brandon, Westley (Yulonda) Myles of Duncanville, Texas, Martha ). Myles, Mary J. Myles, both of Flora, Mississippi, and Richard (Patricia) Myles of Lorman and Flora; Mississippi; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
