Mrs. Mary Lousie Brown

December 9, 1945 - December 29, 2020

Mary Louise Brown passed away peacefully December 29, 2020 in her home. She had her two daughters and grandson "Bubba" by her side. She was born December 9, 1945 in Brandon, MS to Beatrice Quinn and J.C Quinn who both proceeded her in death. She grew up in the Brandon area and later moved to Jackson. Mary found her passion in life helping and caring for others. She worked at the Mississippi State hospital for many years. She worked at the Salvation Army where she continued doing what she loved, helping others and cooking. Mary was loved by everyone. To know her was a blessing. In her spare time you would find her watching her game shows, she used to love to crochet and spending time with her grand/ great grandkids were a must. They shared a special bond. She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters; Amy Brown-Dean (Peter Dean) and Annice Quinn, one grandson; Lekendrick Quinn who was by her side everyday, five granddaughters; Lakaylar Quinn(Brayden, Logan), Jasma Brown(Jace) April Brown, LaQuandia Griffin(Kaleb) Samantha Cleveland(Jadah, Noah, Kharsyn, Makynzee) five sisters; Gail Quinn, Sheila Quinn, Dianne Wilson, Ida Branch, Connie Winters (Sam Winters), two brothers; Jerry Quinn and Tony Quinn, She leaves a host of cousins, nephews., and nieces to cherish her memories including her best friend; Helen Perkins who was more like a sister and her special little neighbor; Olivia Cannon who was more like a granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband Ruben Brown Jr. Her two sons; Billy and Jimmy Quinn, four brothers and one sister.
