Mr. Nathaniel Everett

February 21, 1941 - June 11, 2020

Nathaniel "Papa" transitioned his earthly body to a place of eternal rest on July 11, 2020, at the age of 79. Nathaniel was the oldest child born on February 21, 1941 in Lawrence county, Mississippi to Jim James and Coreen Everett. He accepted Christ at an early age. Papa loved the Lord. He attended McCullough High School in Monticello, MS until the 11th grade. After high school he worked mostly laboring jobs. Nathaniel met the love of his life Almer Ruth Everett when he was 16 and after a few years of dating they married. Through their union they had 3 children. Through the generosity of his heart papa and his wife adopted 5 siblings. His memories will be cherished by his children Donna (Donald) Givens of Maricopa, AZ. Charles (Michelle) Everett of North Carolina. Mary Everett, Mattie Everett, Caroline Everett, Charles (Kim) Peoples, Roy Everett. Siblings Troy Vester (Everlean Louise) Everett, Thelmon (Anita) Everett, Anna (Levester) Wilks; numerous of grandchildren and great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Special Aunt Judith Moore. Nathaniel is preceded in death by his wife Almer Ruth Everett, parents Jim James and Coreen Everett, son James Everett, sister Willie Ruth Gibson.
