Petula (Tula) Lafaye Arrington was born on August 20, 1971 to the late James T. Arrington, Jr. and the late Leola Juanita McDonald Arrington. She departed this life Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. Over the course of her life, she was a member of Lightsey COGIC which later became New Life Fellowship COGIC. She was devoted and happily affiliated with Pinebelt Adult Work Center in Waynesboro, MS. While there, she enjoyed painting, coloring, singing, and most importantly being around her work family. She leaves to cherish her memories: five brothers, James (Hazel) McDonald, Michael Arrington of Shubuta, MS; Arthur (Mary) Arrington of Waynesboro, MS; Douglas Arrington of Gautier, MS; and Jamie (Shaquenna) Arrington of Oak Grove, MS. Three sisters, Cathy McDonald of Shubuta, MS; Stella (Michael) Chambers of Buckatunna, MS; Patty McDonald of Laurel, MS. Two special aunts, Doris Walker and Zera (Aden) Coleman of Laurel, MS. Three uncles, William Arrington, Hilbert Arrington, and Earnest (Rose) Ruffin of Albany, New York. A special godson: Braysen "Wiggle" McDougle and two very special friends (caregiver), Ms. Cransy Leverette and Mr. Dexter Daniels and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
