Mr. Robert Lee Jones

Robert Lee Jones, known to some as "Bob" or "Pop was born December 22, 1945, to the late Bro. L.V. Jones, Sr. and Mary Lee Shoto Jones in Pearl, Mississippi. He attended Carter High School in Brandon, Mississippi, where he met the love of his life, Maxine Wilson Jones (who preceded him in death). They were married for 54 years before her passing. Together they had five daughters, Ruthie Diann Jones (preceded in death), Janet (Charles) Collier, Mary (Anthony) Walker, Maxine Levette (Johnny) Robinson, and Robbienell Jones, all of Pearl, Mississippi. Seven grandchildren, Lakeshia Collier, Latoya Collier, Jessie Lee Beverly, Robert Lee Walker, Jeremy Walker, Katrina Norwood, and Jessica Davis; and five great-grandchildren, Kedra Dixon, Kedric Dixon III, Kaleya Dixon, Christopher Leake III, and Brooklyn Leak. Robert Lee worked at Jackson Oil Company for 35 years before retiring in 2008. He gave his life to the Lord in 1991. As faithful member of Sweet Home COCHUSA, he participated in the Mass Choir, Male Choir, and served as a trustee. Robert Lee would shout, walk, jump, and give praises to the Lord. He leaves behind his daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and seven siblings: Juanita Knight, Mary Lee Funchess, Marvin Jones, Willie Jones, Curtis L. Jones, David L. Jones, and Desree Franklin who will cherish fond memories of him.
