Mr. Samuel Luvine

January 6, 1936 - November 19, 2021

Samuel Luvine was born to the late Mr. Wiley Luvene and Mrs. Addie William-Luvene. Brother Sammy excepted Christ at an early age. He worked at Mississippi State Hospital for a num ber of years, then moved to Chicago, Illinois. From there to Parsippany, New Jersey where he began to work for Greystone Park Psychological Hospital as a Human Service Technician until he retired. On Friday, November 19, 2021, he entered into eter nal rest at the home of his grandson in Pearl, Missis sippi. He was preceded in death by his parents Wiley and Addie Luvene; his wife, Juanita Luvene; five (5) brothers, Apostle G. W., Henry, McArthur (Jr.) Mi ley and T.J. Luvene; two (2) sisters, Georgia Luvene and Lucille Kern; two (2) sons, Maurice and Arnold L. Luvene. He leaves to cherish his memory, two (2) daughters, Marion Luvene of Killen TX., and Diana Luvene of Chicago, Ill.; one (1) son, Sammy Luvene, Jr. of Chicago, Ill.; two (2) sisters, Martha Jean and Ida Luvene, both of Jackson, Mississippi; one (1) brother, Bobby L. Luvene of Jackson, MS, a special grandson, Anthony L. Luvene and a host of grandchildren, Great-grand children, nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
