Mrs. Temoria Harvey

August 2, 1935 - June 22, 2020

Temoria Kersh Harvey was born on August 2, 1935, in Rankin County, MS. She entered into her eternal rest on June 22, 2020 at her home in Brandon, MS. Temoria, affectionately known as "Sweet” or “Mama Sweet", received her education from Mountain Ridge Elementary School, Carter School, and Jim Hill School. As a child, she was a member of Mt. Ridge Church. She later joined Saint Hill C.O.G.I.C after moving to the Evergreen community where she faithfully served for many years as a Sunday School teacher, Pastor's Aide Committee member, Mother's Board member, Communion server, Women's Department member, Executive Board member, Mission Department president, Trustee, and Building Committee member. She was also a prayer warrior and intercessor. She is preceded in death by her parents, A.B. and Inez Kersh (Brandon, MS), her brother Leonard Kersh (Arlington, TX), and the late Jim Harvey (Memphis, TN). Her loving memories will continue to be cherished by her three children, Gwendolyn Harvey Kelly, Anthony Harvey, and Malcolm (Jessica) Harvey, Sr., one brother, Sidney (Thelma) Kersh, and two sisters, Shirley Jenkins and Bobbie (Sammy) Harvey, 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, four sisters-in-laws, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
