Mr. Timothy Lamar Jenkins

November 5, 1969 - October 3, 2021

Timothy Lamar Jenkins was born November 5, 1969 in Hinds County, Mississippi, to the late Lonnie T. Jenkins and Mother Elizabeth Thompson Jenkins. Tim obtained his education and graduated with the Class of 1988 from Pearl Public Schools He attended Hinds Community College and Jackson State University. Tim enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1995, where he was stationed in California and served four (4) years. He received an honorable discharge. After discharge, Tim remained in Riverside County, California where he began his career in Law Enforcement. He was employed by the Riverside County Sheriff's Department for twenty-one (21) years. Tim was united in Holy matrimony to Angela Johnson on December 8, 1995. To this union, no children born. Tim's father, Lonnie T, mother Elizabeth and brother Keith, preceded him in death. Tim accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Elam Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend T. C. James. Tim made his transition, Sunday, October 3. 2021 at his home in Corona, California. Tim will be greatly missed as a husband, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, neighbor, co-worker and those whom he connected with near and far. Tim leaves to cherish his loving memory: his wife, Angela (Corona, California); sisters, Jaqueline and Melisa; mother-in-law, Mrs. Betty Johnson; sister in-law, Dorothy Jenkins; nieces, Alicia and Crystal Jenkins of Pearl, Mississippi and Alaina Tanks of Lisman, Alabama; nephew, Justin Fountain of Jacksonville, Florida, great nephew, Jaylen and great nephew, Jayda; aunts Bobbie Nell (MC); Deloris Goodloe (Clifton) of Canton, Mississippi; Joe Ann Thompson and Naomi Thompson. Also to cherish his memory, a great host of family and friends.
