Mr. Willie Lee Burst

March 28, 1956 - December 26, 2019

Mr. Willie Lee Burst was born March 28, 1956 to the late James Burst and the late Florence Turnage in Sandhill, MS. Willie Lee attended school in the Rankin County Public School System. He first joined church at Lee Chapel M.B. Church in the leadership of the late Reverend S.C. Taylor, Sr. Willie Lee served as an usher and a choir member of which he served very proudly. Circumstances took Willie Lee to move to Madison County. There he joined a church in Pocahontas, MS under the leadership of Reverend Jessie L. Hamerick. Willie Lee was married to the late Doris Burst. He leaves to mourn: one son, Willie Terrell Clanton; three step children, Deniese, Angela and Robert Burst; a close friend, which he loved dearly, Mrs. Susie An Buckner; one brother, Johnnie Burst; his aunt, Mrs. Ethel Strong, who took him in and cared for and loved him during his long illness and a host relatives and friends.
