Mr. Adrian LaRussell Davis

Adrian La Russell Davonne Davis was born in Jackson, Mississippi on March 19, 1987 to Sandra Davis-Abby and Russell Pomerlee. Adrian departed this life in the comfort of his home surrounded by friends and family on April 3, 2024 in Pearl, Mississippi. Adrian received his education at Northwest Rankin High School in Flowood, MS. He earned his High School Diploma in 2006. Adrian's studies included Holmes Community College in Ridgeland, MS where he studied Psychology and Social Work. He was a dedicated worker at Wendy's for twelve years where he served as a manager. He confessed Christ and was baptized at Springhill Christian Center under the leadership of Pastor Dr. M.J. Williams. In 2023, Adrian rededicated his life to Christ and joined New Life Center of Worship under the leadership of Pastor Montrel Taylor. He worked diligently as a youth leader and served faithfully as a member of the Men's Ministry and Usher's Ministry until his health failed. Adrian served the Lord faithfully and with his whole heart until he took his last breath. He made a positive impact on all the lives he came in contact with encouraging everyone to get right with the Lord. Adrian was preceded in death by his sister, Johniesha Hill; grandmothers, Shirley Pomerlee, Doris Myles, and Essie Davis; grandfathers, James Otis Pomerlee, Sr. and Pat Wardell Davis. On April 3, 2024 a page was turned and the final chapter was written. Adrian leaves to cherish his memories: A wonderful, loving and caring mother, Sandra Davis-Abby (Pearl, MS); a father, Russell Pomerlee; Two sisters, Faith Mieshia John) Pomerlee-Watson (Brookhaven, MS); Wakitta Porter (Tampa, Florida): One brother, Roderick Briscoe, Jr. (Pearl, MS); Three nephews, Noah Pomerlee and Mayson Watson (Brookhaven, MS); Joseph Porter (Tampa, Florida); Eleven aunts, Evangelist Kimberly Davis (Pearl, MS), Betty Pomerlee (Coffeeville, MS), Gwendolyn Smith (Jackson, MS), Demiequa Green, Temiequa Davis, Terrica Powell, Kimbler Powell all of (Crystal Springs, MS), Barbara (Charles) Ephfrom and Barbara Sutton Jackson, MS); Annie M. Sutton (Pearl, MS), Annie L. Sutton (Brandon, MS); Five uncles, John (Margaret) Pomerlee, James (Ethel) Pomerlee, Jimmy (Brenda) Pomerlee, and Ben Pomerlee all of (Coffeeville, MS), Robert E. Sutton, Sr. (Brandon, MS); a special cousin/aunt, Gwendolyn Bryant-Sutton; his honorary God children, Jaiden Lowery, Jaide and Amir Washington; a favorite teacher, Pollie Hart-Weaver; a special best friend of 26 years, Octavia Taylor; a God sister, Keyona Sutton; and a host of family and friends.
