Aubree Therese Sutton

Aubree Therese Sutton was born to Robert Edward Sutton, III and LaKendra Therese Bogan-Sutton, on October 18, 2012, at 1:09 pm. She departed this life on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 4:18 p.m. at Batsons Children's Hospital. On March 10, 2013, Aubree joined Trinity United Methodist Church in Brandon, MS. Throughout her life, she also attended Good Hope MB Church in Florence, MS, where she was a member of the youth Choir and the praise dance team. She was currently attending Greater New Friendship in Brandon, MS, under the leadership of Pastor Perry Fletcher. Aubree attended Hinds Community College Early Childhood Education Center and Florence Public Schools, where she was currently a Sixth Grader. Aubree's big, bright smile and sassy personality touched everyone she came in contact with. She loved to sing, dance, cook and do arts and crafts. One of her favorite past times was building lego sets. Aubree was an animal lover at heart. She had a host of pets including: 3 ducks, 2 turtles-Tom & Jerry, 2 dogs- Sammy and Sophia, one cat named King and a few chickens! Aubree also loved horseback riding. Aubree loved fishing and target practicing cross bows and air riffles with Paw Paw. Aubree was Granny's right hand when it came to baking cakes and pies. She looked forward to her daily trips to Walmart, where she claimed the front seat and her TT Nita could only sit in the back. Aubree achieved her celebrity status by appearing in several St Jude commercials, one being with Michael Strahan, an interview on The Today Show with Hoda & Jenna, where they made it possible for her to meet her favorite celebrity idol, Darcy Lynn, a famous ventriloquist & an interview on People's TV. Aubree was recognized as Rankin County School District's Student of the Month for April 2024. In April 2024, she was honored by Congressman Michael Guest & he had a U.S. Flag flown over the United States Capitol in Aubree's honor. She was also a recipient of the D.A.R.E. Award by Officer Doss. Aubree was preceded in death by her great-grand fathers, Ersel Bogan,Sr and Taylor Bryant and great-grandmother, Lois Redd Sutton. Aubree leaves to cherish her precious memories: her parents, LaKendra Bogan-Sutton of Florence, MS and Robert (Ashley) Sutton, III of Pearl, MS; two sisters, Alana Sutton of Florence, MS and Ta'Niyla Mallett of Pearl, MS; one brother, Tory Mallett of Pearl, MS; her grandparents, Kenneth and Teresa Bogan of Florence, MS, Robert Jr. and Veronica Sutton of Brandon, MS; Maternal great grand parents J.C. and Mable Cannon of Florence, MS and Ella Rose Bogan of New Orleans LA, Paternal great grandparents, Dorothy Bryant of Flowood, MS and Robert Edward Sutton Sr. of Brandon, MS; Aunts, Verlencia (Kris) Myers and Epiphany (Jonathan) Porter both of Pearl, MS; Uncles, Terrell (Larwandria) Bogan of Florence, MS, Jeremy (Mercedes) Sutton of Flowood, MS; Special aunts, Anita Cannon and Sheena McKnight both of Florence, MS, Jackie Bogan Gibson of Picayune, MS and Donna Bogan Hayes of Marietta, GA; god mother, Larwandria Bogan of Florence, MS; Best Friend 4 Life, Taylor Verney of Florence, MS, along with a host of other aunts, cousins, family and friends.
