Ms. Ethel Leen Tribble

Ethel Leen (Sister Girl) Tribble was born on March 25, 1944 in Sandhill, Mississippi to Mingo and Earline Donald. She was proceeded in death by two(2) sons Edward C. McCoy, James C. McCoy both of her parents Mingo and Earline Donald, three (3) sisters Idell Miggins, Bessie Johnsen, Rebecca Gore, five (5) brothers Leo (Dank) Donald, Floyd (Pistol) Donald, Mingo (June Bug) Donald Jr., Lacey Donald and Willie Donald. Ethel joined Mt Pisgah MB Church at a very young age. Ethel always sought to make positive changes in and around her life; not only for herself but for anyone she came in contact with. Ethel married her childhood sweetheart Charlie (Smokey) McCoy. To this union five children were born. After Ethel's first three sons were born, Ethel and her husband decided to move north for a better life and better opportunities. Ethel gave birth to a daughter in Nebraska, and one in Michigan. No Matter where Ethel lived, she was always active in her church and giving GOD the praise he so rightly deserves. Ethel remarried two additional times. To theses unions no children were born. In 1994 Ethel believed her mother's health had begin to decline, so Ethel decided to move back to Mississippi to be close to her mother. In 1997, Ethel followed her mother's footsteps and joined the Heron of Jericho. Ethel rejoined the family church, Mt Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church. Ethel was a faithful and steadfast member of Mt Pisgah MB Church until her death. Ethel was called from labor November 28, 2023 at 09:25 A.M. Ethel leaves to cherish and mourn her memories three (3) children Derrick D. (Betty) McCoy of Rancho Cordova, CA, Phyllis V. (Greg Lewis deceased) of Memphis TN, Kami N. McCoy of Lansing, MI. 17 grandchildren Jessica McCoy, James C McCoy Jr., Zachery A. Jones, Taneka S. McCoy, Ka'Vares J (Rickell) Brown, Ka'Shia J (Anton) Taylor, Ka'Yonta G. Lewis, Gregory G. Lewis Jr., Ejeanae V Lewis, Ka'Shawn McCoy, Keon'Tavin McCoy, Leangela Heron, Kasharae Heron, Natiana (Chaz) Castillo, Chase Flore, Mark Flore, Luke Flore, 33 great grand children, and three (3) great great grand children, three (3) brothers Elbert (Helen) Donald of D'Lo, MS, Leroy (Jessie) Donald of Brandon, MS, Simon (Delois) Donald of Lansing, MI, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a special friend and person assisting with Ethel's activities of daily living Robert Tribble.
