Mrs. Patsy Ruth Johnson

Mrs. Patsy Ruth Lee Johnson was born on May 20, 1934 in Jackson, MS. She was raised by Walter James and Rosie Lee. On Sunday June 21, 2020 the Lord called another angel home. Mrs. Patsy Johnson accepted Christ at an early age. She join St. Peter Baptist Church as a child and later joined Mt. Holum M.B. Church of Pearl, MS. She remained an active and faithful member until her health failed. She was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Johnnie Lee Pearson, Sr. were six children was born: Johnnie Jr., Bobbie, Andy, Pecillia, Larry, and Patsy. Later was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Freddie Lee Johnson, Sr. to this union one child was bom: Robbin. She grew up in Hinds County where she attend Salli Reynolds Elementary, Campbell College Middle School, and Jill Hill High School. She worked for Travelers Lodge and Mr. B's Daycare. In the year 2000 she became a Foster Granay at Hudspeth Center in their volunteer program. She stayed there until December 2017. Mrs. Patsy Johnson was a member of St. Mary #55 Order of Eastern Star - Brandon, MS. Rehab Court #4 Heroine of Jericho - Jackson, MS. Lillie Mae Pace #1 Lady Knights - Jackson, MS Noble Court #3 Daughter of Sphinx - Jackson, MS Where she was a lifetime member of Electra Grand Chapter – Jackson, MS She was Past Matron of St. Mary =55 Order of Eastern Star Preceding her in death was her parents (Walter James and Rosie, her two husbands (Johnnie Lee Pearson Sr. and Freddie Lee Johnson Sr.), two sons (Percy James Watson and Norris Harrington), three grandsons (Terrance Pearson, Cory Adams, and Earnest Pearson), one great grandson (Demarcus Jones) and one stepson (Henry Johnson). She leaves behind to cherish her memories of love and devotion to her loving children; four daughters Bobbie (Eddie) Winston Patsy (Leonard) Hayes, Robbin Lyons all of Pearl, MS and Pecillia (Late Curtis) Komegay of Arlington, TX. Five Sons; Robert Lee of Jackson, MS, Cecil (Ida) Adams of Memphis, TN, Johnnie (Janet) Pearson and Larry (Vera) Pearson of Pearl, MS, and Andy (Jackie) Pearson of Las Vegas, NV. Five stepchildren; Freddie (Yvonne) Johnson, William (Yvonne) Johnson, Michael (Sherry Johnson of Pearl, MS and Beverly Brown of Richland MS. One Special daughter (Mary Snell) of Pearl, MS. She has thirty-eight grandchildren, forty-four great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, fifteen step grandchildren, twenty-seven step great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
