When he arrived on his motorcycle, he immediately caught her eye, and the connection between them was instant. After a year of dating, they were married on January 29, 2010. From the very beginning, Issac knew Shelly was his good thing, and together they shared a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion. Children: Antonio Spells, Jeramie Spells Bonus Children: Shuncy Jones & DeMontae McGee Grandchildren: Mi Journi Spells & 5 bonus grandbabies Siblings: Shirley Spells-Wright (deceased), Arthur Jean Holmes (deceased), Dennis Earl Spells, & Tyrone Norwood Close & Dear Friends: Mae Toines, Henrietta Cooper, and Sharon Mills Education: Florence High School- Class of 1987 Place of Employment: Whitfield Mississippi State Hospital, Walmart in Pearl, MS for 25 years Life's Enjoyments: Shelly truly enjoyed life and found joy in the simple things - walking, exercising, playing cards, dancing, and spending time with those she loved. She and her sister, Shirley, were known for laughing, "talking noise," and enjoying card games and family gatherings together. More than anything, Shelly cherished her family and dear friends. She loved cooking, traveling, shopping, decorating her home, tending to her garden, and spending special time with her mother-in-law, Ms. Bessie Jones, and her grandchildren. Shelly deeply treasured the love she shared with her husband, Issac — her king, best friend, and the love of her life. Together, they shared beautiful moments filled with music, laughter, and love, and through Issac, Shelly became a true jazz gal at heart. Remembering Shelly "Dean" a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She had a cheerful and joyful spirit, always wearing a smile and never meeting a stranger. Her kindness and warm heart touched everyone blessed to know her. Shelly's life was truly a blessing, and her memory will forever be a treasure. She will be loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. Even while facing trials and tribulations with her health, Shelly never complained. She continued to press her way to church, trusted in God, and kept her faith strong. Most importantly, she continually called on the Lord and found her strength in Him. Her beautiful spirit, unwavering faith, and loving heart will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
