Mr. William Ware, Jr.

...Cares all past, home, at last, ever to rejoice. William Ware, Jr.'s earthly chapter of life closed at 1:30 am on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center, McKinney, Texas. "Jr" as he was affectionally called by his family was born on June 29, 1933, to the late Mr. William Ware Sr. and Mrs. L. V. Ware on a plantation near Ruleville, MS as the first of 11 children. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Rose, Willie Ethel, and Vera, and three brothers, Quitman, Eld. Herman, Sr., and Charlie. William obtained his eleventh-grade education from Pilgrim Rest Church, a one-room school outside of Ruleville, MS. He spread his wings with several employers in Ruleville, MS including. Ruleville Lumber Company, and D & L. In 1971, he moved to Jackson, MS where he met Patricia Ann Jenkins, the love of his life. After six months of courtship, William and Patricia were united in Holy Matrimony by the late Reverend J. T. Hill on December 18, 1971. This union was blessed with two wonderful sons. He continued employment at the Holiday inn, Jackson, MS, Jenkins Body & Paint Shop, and Century Metals where he retired from. As an outstanding citizen in Pearl, MS, the street "Ware BLVD" was named in his honor. He enjoyed reading his bible, working on his puzzle books, and talking with his siblings daily. He was a great conversationalist and historian. William was reared in a Christian home where he attended church services in Ruleville, MS, and later Pearl, MS. As a former member of Sweet Rest, he was the cemetery caretaker, van driver, and member of the Senior Choir and Male Chorus. In 2008, he became a member of Love Fellowship church, founded by his son, Pastor Kevin L. Ware, where he was very active in the Nursing Home Ministry. Upon moving to Melissa, Texas in 2019 because of his health, he remained under the leadership of his son at Kingdom Restoration Fellowship Church. He was a great supporter of the Ministry, as you would hear him saying, "Come on Son" as the anointed word went forth. His loving memories will forever be cherished in the hearts of his devoted wife, Patricia Ware, remarkable sons, Pastor Kevin [LaKisha "Chief") Ware, Melissa, TX. Minister Kirby (Becky] Ware, Pearl, MS, eight adorable grandchildren that called him "Papaw," two great-grandsons. Three brothers: Elder John [Sarah Ware, Indianola, MS. Dave (Betty) Ware, Mound Bayou, MS., and Sgt. Clarence (Lillie Steen] Ware, Augusta, GA. And one sister, Alice Hooper, Mound Bayou, MS. Ten sisters-in-law, numerous loving, caring, respectful, and supportive nieces and nephews that loved Uncle Jr unconditionally, other relatives, close friends, and Kingdom Restoration Church Family.
